**Waste Control** **, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a** **Class A Roll Off/Drop Box Driver** **to join the team in Longview, Washington. Previous waste experience would be a huge** **_plus_** **!** **The Schedule will be** **Wednesday.-Saturday. Starting at 6am and goes until the route is complete (Generally 10-12 Hours Shifts) with Overtime often. Wage will be $28.37/HR** ****We are also offering a $2,000 Stay-on Bonus!**** **What We Offer:** **Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits.** **401K Plan, $1 for $1 match up to 5%** **Paid Time Off** **$2,000 Stay On Bonus!** **$250 Yearly Boot Allowance** **$$ Yearly Safety Bonus $$** **Duties and Responsibilities:** **In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to Deliver and Pickup up Drop Boxes from the local Mills.** **Must be able to drive** **manual transmission** **.** **Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.** **Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.** **Ability to perform a physically demanding job,** **loading and unloading** **, at times with no helpers.** **Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.** **Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.** **Working Conditions and Physical Effort:** **Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work;** **heavy lifting** **, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.** **Operating Truck to Deliver Roll Off Box and Pick up Roll Off Boxes.** **The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions.** **The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.** **Minimum Job Requirements:** **Valid Class A CDL** **with** **air brakes** **endorsement.
