**Job Description** Job Duties and Responsibilities + Perform trailer movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies and production needs + Hook, unhook and move trucks to and from the service department and around dock area + Spot or position loaded and unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for unloading or loading + Connect loaded semitrailers to tractors for the drivers + Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement log + Follow steps to ensure proper operation and perform periodic preventive maintenance including pre and post trip inspections of equipment in the area + Perform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean + Wash exterior of trucks and trailers if appropriate for yard location + Complete sales route deliveries and/or over-the-road routes, as needed + Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries + Attend all driver workshops and training sessions + The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required **Requirements** Education and Experience + High School Diploma or equivalent + Tractor/trailer experience, within the last five years preferred + Must meet minimum age requirements + Meet all DOT requirements + Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements + Certification and/or License – Current CDL (Class A) license in state of residence; current tanker endorsement if needed An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
