Who We WantThe Claims Clerk is a detail-oriented, service-focused role that provides frontline support to internal and external contacts in an efficient and timely manner. This role will be the Claims Department’s administrative point of contact. Primary duties include organizing and maintaining the email queue and importing and preparing files for claims processing. Additionally, this role will support the administrative needs of the Claims Specialist and the Claims Lead. Occasionally, the Claims Clerk will work closely with claim handlers as a Spanish translator to facilitate claims resolution. This role requires technical skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoProvide first-line responses and resolutions to internal and external issues via emailImport or build claims and assign to handlerAnswer and direct incoming phone callsAssign emails to the appropriate claim handlerMonitor receipt of payments for payment plans and maintain detailed payment recordsAudit delinquent payment plans and report them to the appropriate claim handlerHandle all incoming communication and inquiries that do not require the expertise of a claim handler or managerEnsure proper recording, documentation and closure of all queries in the email queueProvide translation of Spanish communicationsRecommend procedure modifications or improvements as neededQualificationsProven working experience in administrative support role (1 year required)Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasksSeemless handling of multiple projects and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyData entry and word processing skills (required)Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (required)Ability to use word processing applications and document management software (required)Working knowledge of Gmail (required)Fluency in English and Spanish (required)The Perks of Working With UsTake advantage of our benefits including monthly grocery vouchers, vacation days, savings fund, medical insurance (including dental and vision plans) and more.Leave the suit and tie at home; our dress code is casual.Enjoy office wide engagement activities, team events, happy hours and more!Work in our new Guadalajara office located in Torre 1500 (Av.
