Essential Job Functions:
Follows procedures to process death claim transactions by corresponding with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding policiesWillingness to learn new payment processes and/or other processes within death claims depending on where the need is on any given dayResponsible for the accurate handling and timely execution of any policy workedEnsure transactions are processed on our administrative systems accurately and in a timeframe considered suitable by MetLife guidelinesReport any potential fraudulent, money laundering, or unethical requests that have been reviewedPerform other related duties as assigned or required dailyMust provide an elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls made internally or externallyContinuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experienceMandatory Qualifications:
High School Diploma completed2+ years of relevant life insurance death claims business experienceClaims processing experienceWorking knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelinesMicrosoft Office and MS Teams work experienceGreat typing and documenting skillsEmpathy, sensibility and high sense or touch are necessary for the type of support we provide to our customersInbound/outbound customer service experience and communication skills are requiredGreat ability to multitask between client´s applications and DXC systemsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is preferredFINRA Series 6 is preferredInsurance call center experience is highly preferred (this position is not a call center)Work Environment:
