Job Description
Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Auto to join our Maritimes team.To meet our customer’s needs, your work week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm,*Note: work hours depend on the needs of the department.
Accountabilities:
Review insurance policy and coveragesInvestigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liabilitySettle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcementQualifications:
Minimum high school education or equivalentBilingual language fluency (English/French)Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is requiredKnowledge in understanding and interpreting policiesCommitment to providing outstanding customer serviceProficient keyboard skills and computer literacyBonus Qualifications:
Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation#LI-KT1
