Civil / Structural Engineer, PE Summary: The Structural Engineer coordinates with other engineering disciplines and designers to complete the designs for dozens of reinforced concrete foundations and steel structures including natural gas plants Responsibilities: + Coordination with team engineers, other engineering disciplines, designers, project manager and project schedulers to support construction schedule + Perform detailed structural engineering + Perform detailed checking of drawings, calculations, and documents of the team + Train and mentor team engineers + Provide responses for construction questions and issues that arise + Maintain status of various foundation and structures to support management inquiries + Other duties as requested by management Preferred Skills: + Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318 and PIP Standards + Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, RAM Connection, LPILE and Microsoft Office products + Ability to provide appropriate level of detailed evaluation to balance efforts to provide efficient and safe designs + Be able to evaluate structures and components that do not necessarily fit applicable code Experience/Education Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering + Professional Engineering license required. + 2 years minimum experience in petrochemical plant design, foundations and structural steel + 5 years minimum experience as a structural engineer Full-time Benefits: + 401(k) & 401(k) matching + AD&D insurance + Dental insurance + Health insurance + Life insurance + Paid time off + Vision insurance System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
