Civil/Structural Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design and analyze structures for power plant projects, focusing on commercial nuclear facilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program. 3-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in engineering programs like Mathcad or Matlab. Experience with Finite Element Analysis software or techniques. Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

Strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities:

Design and analyze concrete and steel structures, heavy load components, and equipment supports. Conduct conceptual studies, design calculations, specification development, and seismic analysis. Develop analytical models using FEA techniques. Assist in creating design and construction drawings. Coordinate designs across multiple disciplines and resolve design issues on-site.

Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
