Parsons is recognized for its technical depth, client focus, and excellence in project execution, and we are looking for professionals who share our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. **This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in our Centreville, VA, or Washington, DC office** **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform conventional and moderately complex highway/roadway engineering tasks efficiently and accurately. + Serve as a lead engineer for specific disciplines on small to intermediate-sized projects or contribute as part of a project team. + Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project. + Plan and design roadway facilities that prioritize reliability, safety, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. + Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs. + Foster cooperative and productive relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders. **Qualifications:** + **Experience:** 3–10+ years of related experience in highway/roadway engineering design. + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). + **Licensure:** Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly preferred. + **Software Skills:** Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, and industry-standard roadway design and analysis software. + **Preferred Experience:** Familiarity with VDOT and DDOT standards and practices. **Work Environment:** This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in our Centreville, VA, or Washington, DC office.
