Description Key Areas of Focus 1. Site Design & Layout o Grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater management o Applying civil engineering principles to develop comprehensive site plans • Leading the design process 2. Regulatory Compliance o Ensuring designs meet local, state, and federal codes o Supporting permitting processes and coordinating with agencies (especially in California) 3. Project Management o Developing schedules, budgets, and tracking milestones o Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders 4. Client Interaction o Understanding client goals and providing updates o Addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction o Answering echnical questions in meetings o Leading internal meetings to discuss and provide guidance on plan deliverables 5. Candidates must be proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with the ability to independently produce grading, drainage, and utility designs. Daily responsibilities include preparing site plans, performing stormwater calculations, coordinating with clients and agencies, and reviewing design documents for QA/QC.
