**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking an experienced **Civil Lead Designer** to support projects in the **Winter Park, Florida** area. This role will contribute to the **Southeast Water Business Line** , supporting a variety of water, wastewater, and infrastructure improvement projects.
+ Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager
+ Responsible for setting own project deadlines
+ Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
+ Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
+ May lead less experienced drafters
+ Lead and produce civil design deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D in accordance with project requirements and firm standards.
+ Develop and manage pipe networks for both gravity and pressure systems, including modeling, labeling, and plan/profile production
+ Prepare and oversee linear piping plan and profile drawings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and constructability
+ Perform and coordinate grading and paving design, including surfaces, corridors, alignments, and earthwork concepts
+ Serve as the technical lead for civil design efforts, providing direction, mentoring, and quality control for junior designers and CAD staff
+ Coordinate civil models and drawings with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, and process)
+ Ensure compliance with applicable client, agency, and DOT standards, including familiarity with FDOT and GDOT standards (preferred)
+ Utilize and support project workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Bentley ProjectWise for document management and coordination
+ Participate in design reviews, clash coordination, and resolution of technical issues
+ Support BIM/CAD standards implementation and continuous improvement of workflows and best practices
**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ BA/BS degree plus 6 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education
+ Due to the projects associated with this position, US Citizenship is required
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (2022 or newer)
+ Experience with pipe network design, including pressure and gravity flow systems
+ Working knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud
+ Experience withgrading and paving design
+ Ability to develop linear pipeline plan and profile drawings

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $74500 to $110000.
