Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our construction projects, particularly in infrastructure and road development.

Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and work processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulationsAnalyze and interpret contract documents, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify adherence to project requirementsPerform regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues or deviations from plansPrepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, recommendations, and photographic documentationCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project qualityVerify equipment settings, alignment, and testing procedures to maintain project integrityMonitor and report on contractor resources, including personnel and equipment utilizationImplement and oversee quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycleConduct site measurements and surveying checks to ensure accurate alignment and levelsParticipate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on inspection findings and project statusAssist in the review and approval of contractor submittals and change ordersEnsure compliance with local and international construction standards and regulations

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in civil inspection, particularly in infrastructure and road projectsIn-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in Saudi ArabiaStrong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specificationsProficiency in conducting site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance proceduresExcellent skills in site measurements and surveying checksStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in project management software and MS Office SuiteOutstanding report writing and communication skills in EnglishArabic language skills preferredStrong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to travel to various project sites within Saudi ArabiaValid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in Saudi Arabia
