Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our construction projects, particularly in infrastructure and road development. + Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and work processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations + Analyze and interpret contract documents, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify adherence to project requirements + Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues or deviations from plans + Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, recommendations, and photographic documentation + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project quality + Verify equipment settings, alignment, and testing procedures to maintain project integrity + Monitor and report on contractor resources, including personnel and equipment utilization + Implement and oversee quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle + Conduct site measurements and surveying checks to ensure accurate alignment and levels + Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on inspection findings and project status + Assist in the review and approval of contractor submittals and change orders + Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards and regulations **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field + Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil inspection, particularly in infrastructure and road projects + In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in Saudi Arabia + Strong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specifications + Proficiency in conducting site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance procedures + Excellent skills in site measurements and surveying checks + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite + Outstanding report writing and communication skills in English + Arabic language skills preferred + Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment + Willingness to travel to various project sites within Saudi Arabia + Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in Saudi Arabia **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
