Black & McDonald's Moncton office is looking for a full-time hands-on leader with a passion for civil work that can work on a wide variety of projects from excavation to concrete forming projects. You would be working with a team of experienced workers in a safe working environment in Moncton and the various locations throughout New Brunswick. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Leading and mentoring a hardworking crew, ensuring every project runs smoothly + Civil work including grading, excavation, conduit installation, compaction + Building and setting up concrete forms to precise specifications + Pouring and finishing concrete – forming and finishing skills are a must + Operating equipment such as small excavators, tampers, cut-off saws, and skid steers + Collaborating with Project Managers and other teams to get the job done right + Reading and interpreting blueprints and site plans to execute top-notch work Work Experience Requirements: + 2+ years of hands-on concrete experience + A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract + 2+ years operating equipment + A team player with great organizational and time management skills + Someone who can handle the physical demands – lifting 50+ lbs, standing, walking, and bending for long hours + Adapt easily to a variety of tasks + Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather + Must be able to get a variety of security clearances Why Join Us + Opportunities to develop roles and responsibilities + Company vehicle + Team environment + Safety our #1 focus Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 45hrs per week (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities) Union pay/benefits #LI-MN2
