What will you do?Plans and manages construction, development, lease or other special building projects as landlord and acts as coach for the real estate project members.
• Plans, prepares and coordinates projects according to the given framework• Ensures the achievement of the project targets in agreed quality within agreed budgets and timelines. • Ensures consistency with overall internal framework and respective local law regulations.• Conducts planning, budgeting, risk identification and management, controlling and reporting activities, throughout all stages of the project assigned.• Decides on and allocates project resources, and carries out project and cost/benefit calculations, also under consideration of legal, accounting, tax and insurance aspects.• Decides engagement of external resources, steers external project members (contractors, architects, surveyors etc.), and evaluates and integrates results.• Monitors project milestone achievements and budget adherence, and reports to steering committee resp. sponsor.• Acts as landlord and acts as coach for the RE project members. • Acts as an interface to customer and responsible coordinator of all internal and external stakeholders.• Lead EHS, quality and sustainability in construction projects• Responsibility for capex steering • Preparation of business case (financial spreadsheet)• Setup the governmental approval coordination and determination of other legal/statutory approvals if needed• Preparation and approval of I-Applications for development projects• Assessment and validation of planned works by contractors/suppliers/third parties, including review of scopes, costs and times against the market conditions.• Supervision of works of contractors/suppliers/third parties during their execution throughout all phases of the project.• Suggests ideas and initiatives for the improvement of the project execution and manages their implementation accordingly.• Provides expert advice to contractors/suppliers/third parties regarding technical works to be performed within the project.
What will you need to succeed?• Bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering or similar.• At least 3 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering.• Experience in processes projects implementation.• Advanced English level.
