Join us. **Job Description** . + **Key Responsibilities** **Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling** + Perform hydrologic & hydraulic modeling using **HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, and MIKE** platforms (essential). + Use **GEO‑SLOPE** for slope stability / seepage interactions; experience with **MODFLOW** is an added advantage. + Analyze, calibrate, and validate model outputs; identify discrepancies and propose corrective approaches. + **Real‑Time Water Management Support** + Contribute to at least one **Real-Time Decision Support System (RT‑DSS)** project for water management applications. + Support integration of model outputs into dashboards, data systems, and decision frameworks. + **Engineering Analysis & Delivery** + Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers. + **Data Processing & Reporting** + Prepare **technical reports** , datasets, figures, and documentation. + Use **MATLAB or Python** for data processing, automation, and hydrologic dataset manipulation (advantageous). + Support multi‑project workflows with accurate, organized, and high‑quality outputs. + **Project Coordination & Travel** + Support multiple concurrent projects across India, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. + Travel as needed for client meetings, workshops, site visits, and presentations. + Gather, organize, and correlate engineering data using defined procedures. + Conduct calculations, routine analyses, and simple test evaluations for water resources projects. + Propose technical approaches to new or ambiguous problems. + Provide first‑level guidance to entry‑level engineers and interns. + Deliver work according to **approved budgets and schedules** with moderate supervision. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Water Resources / Environmental Engineering or related discipline. + 5–8 years of relevant experience in H&H modeling using industry‑standard tools. + Strong analytical capability, engineering judgment, and ability to identify inconsistencies in data or model results. **Additional Information** + Master’s degree in Water Resources / Hydrology / Environmental Engineering. + Experience with **MODFLOW** , groundwater–surface water interactions, or geotechnical‑water interface modeling. + Working knowledge of MATLAB/Python for hydrologic time‑series processing. + Exposure to national/state‑level water resource projects **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
