Overview

AtkinsRéalis’ Major Projects division is in search of a Co-Operative Student to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Co-Operative Student role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.

The role will report to the Construction Management Team.

Your role

Review proposals/specifications and drawings.Maintain document tracking logs and technical documentation.Develop and maintain excel spreadsheets and graphs.Data monitoring and interpretation.Site visits and inspections.Assist engineers on design, method statements, and risk assessments.

About you

2nd or 3rd year in Civil Engineering and enrolled in Civil Engineering Co-op Program from a recognized post-secondary institution.Knowledgeable in scheduling.Available for 8 months starting Summer 2026Able to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is an asset.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong work ethic and highly motivated.The ability to work independently, as well as in a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
