Job Description

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering, Philadelphia, PA.

Job details:

Provide technical leadership to teams working on medium to large scale transportation projectsDevelop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation detailsDevelop rigid and flexible pavement designsPrepare signing and pavement marking plans and detailsPrepare construction phasing plans and develop maintenance of traffic based on interdisciplinary coordination and constructability reviewsIdentify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions based on interdisciplinary constructability reviews, client feedback, and utility needsDevelop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimatesImplement 3D CADD modeling techniquesDevelop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standardsAdhere to and promote AECOM quality proceduresComplete interdisciplinary technical reviewsContribute to internal project-related staffing decisions to facilitate meeting client schedule, scope, and budgetPrepare presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitationsWork collaboratively as part of a larger design team to proactively meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule through ethical and responsible decision makingProvide support to AECOM project managers and department managersTelecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 3 years experience as Design Engineer, Civil Engineer, Transportation Engineer, or related occupation.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in a related occupation.

The position requires:

Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain the license within one year of employment.Experience in the following: OpenRoads Designer; AutoTURN; AASHTO, PROWAG, and HCM Manuals; Bluebeam; AutoCAD; AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation; HEC-RAS; HCS; ArcGIS; and GEOPAK.
