Excellent Opportunity!!  Looking for a great company to work for that tackles problems that other companies aren't able to?  Our established client is looking for a Civil Engineer to lead and support development and management for a wide variety of projects focused mainly on heavy civil engineering as well as industrial facility design and construction. 

Responsibilities will include:  

Launch and lead our Sioux Falls office, serving as the local point of contact and operations leader. Manage and deliver civil infrastructure projects, primarily in wastewater treatment, conveyance, and utility infrastructure. Oversee design-build projects from concept through construction. Guide and perform technical civil design, with a secondary focus on structural elements. Build and lead a high-performing local engineering team. Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, agencies, and local partners. Contribute to business development, proposals, and client acquisition. Navigate local permitting, regulations, and design standards.

Requirements: 

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Dakota or the ability to obtain within 6 months. 8+ years of experience in civil engineering: Experience with design-build project delivery. Leadership experience—project or office-level. Entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills. Knowledge of the Sioux Falls market and regional development trends.

Preferred:

Existing relationships with South Dakota municipalities or utility agencies. Experience growing or managing an office or regional team. Business development or proposal experience.
