C&W PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES INDIA (JOB DESCRIPTION) Position: Civil Engineer Reporting Manager: AM/DM- Technical / Building Manager Issue Date: 15/2/2025 Job Description To control and monitor the preventive maintenance carried out as per schedule. Participating in all near miss incidents and accident investigations. Participating in emergency exercises Requiring that all incidents are investigated promptly and take appropriate steps for preventive recurrence. To take care of the civil maintenance work, both internal and external to the buildings Repair and plaster work on floor/wall/ceiling. Replacing stones on the walls/floors Painting and polishing as required. Repair all seepage/cracks developed on the walls/ceiling. Function ability of all sewerage systems/ storm water system. Ensure safety while working and adhering to the safety norms. Any other task / responsibility assigned by the management from time to time Roles, Responsibilities, Authority, and Accountability (RRAA) in relation to OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) Roles in OH&S: To promote a safety-first culture in line with the DLF HSE Policy. To act as a role model by following and promoting safe work practices. To ensure team compliance with all applicable safety procedures, SOPs, and legal requirements C&W PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES INDIA (JOB DESCRIPTION) Responsibilities in OH&S: Ensure understanding and implementation of the DLF HSE Policy among team members. Communicate and enforce DLF Safety standards, SOPs, and OH&S procedures within the team. Set and meet individual OH&S objectives aligned with organizational targets. Identify workplace risks, implement appropriate control measures, and communicate them effectively. Report and investigate all incidents, Near Miss Cases (NMCs), and Safety Observations (SOs) according to procedures. Ensure all work complies with the Permit to Work system and all necessary risk controls (OSRA, JSA, HIRA, TBT). Attend mandatory OH&S training as per the Training Needs Identification (TNI) and plan. Maintain and track OH&S documentation as per assigned responsibility. Authority in OH&S: To stop unsafe work immediately if a risk is identified. To report hazards or violations to higher authorities or HSE teams. To enforce the use of PPE, safety systems, and compliance with SOPs and PTW requirements. To participate in investigations and audits, suggesting improvements. To request training or retraining where gaps are identified. Accountability in OH&S: Accountable for ensuring all work activities are carried out in compliance with the DLF Safety Management System. Accountable for applying and monitoring all risk control measures in their scope of work. Accountable for maintaining OH&S documentation and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Accountable for participation in safety forums, training, and investigations.
