As a Civil Engineer you will be part of a large established, experienced national civil engineering team, with a base in AECOM’s multidisciplinary London - Aldgate office.  

You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development), for a range of Clients.    

Here’s what you’ll do:

You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development), for a range of Clients.  You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a wider national community of infrastructure engineers.  Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Proposes an approach to solve new problems encountered.Identify discrepancies in results.Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.You will be expected to want to work towards a professional qualification with a relevant institution (IEng / CEng with the Institution of Civil Engineers for example)

Qualifications

Requirements:

A degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringExperience within an engineering consultancy Experience in the design of urban roads and drainage is a requirement of this roleProficiency with InfoDrainage and Civils3D software packages is a requirement of this roleDesign of earthworks and site levels in a 3D environment is desiredUnderstanding of BIM in Civil Engineering is desired
