Civil Engineer
Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for creating precise dimensions and designs based on inputs from the Engineering team. This role includes managing red line markups of drawings, overseeing site layouts, and preparing development plan drawings for meetings. The engineering team primarily utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D for these tasks. The projects encompass commercial, residential, and parks.

Responsibilities

Draw dimensions and designs received from Engineer.Handle red line markups of drawings.Develop site layouts and set up drawings for development plan meetings.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design work.Work on a diverse range of projects including commercial, residential, and parks.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience with red line markups.Skill in site layout design.Ability to set up drawings and development plans.Knowledge in utilities, storm water/underground, and drainage design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of cutting profiles for pipe and utilities in drawings is a plus.Prefer a candidate with EIT or able to get EIT within 6 months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
