Job Description
The Civil Engineer/Project Manager will specialize in Wastewater Treatment projects, focusing on planning and leading projects, client communication, and providing technical expertise for project execution. The role involves managing projects as well as performing design and engineering development. The Project Manager will collaborate with the multidisciplinary teams in the office and report to the Kalamazoo Office Director. Projects include the design and improvement of wastewater treatment plants and municipal water systems.
Responsibilities
Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including equipment selection and sizing, calculations, and hydraulic modeling.Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects.Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Communicate and collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and permit requirements.Oversee the construction and installation of water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.Provide technical support to other engineers and technicians.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.Essential Skills

The office is located in Kalamazoo, where civil, structural, and mechanical groups work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
