Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing comprehensive design sets, communicating effectively with team members and clients, and reviewing site plans. The position requires a strong understanding of scheduling and budgeting, with a majority of the work conducted in an office setting and occasional site inspections.
Responsibilities
+ Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss task overviews.
+ Develop full set designs for projects.
+ Maintain open communication with team members and clients.
+ Review and assess site plans for accuracy and compliance.
+ Manage scheduling and budgeting for projects.
+ Conduct site inspections as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in civil engineering, particularly in land development.
+ Proficiency in grading and stormwater design and management.
+ Hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
+ Ability to design full site plans, including drainage.
+ Possession of an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in private land development.
+ Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees.
Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based, with 95% of the work conducted in the office and 5% involving site inspections. The office is located in Princeton, NJ, with a planned move to Asbury Park, NJ in February. Employees enjoy 24 days of hybrid work flexibility per year, equating to approximately 2 days per month. The firm consists of 150 people, with 35 based in the Princeton office. We offer a non-corporate setting with a transparent career path, bi-annual reviews, and opportunities for career growth. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $83.50/hr.
