🔍 About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering conceptual, permitting, and final design packages for transit projects, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You’ll also support technical studies, specifications, and cost estimates across various phases of design.
🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop conceptual, permitting, and final design for NYC transit projectsProvide engineering design services aligned with codes and standardsPrepare technical studies, reports, specifications, and cost estimatesSupport design efforts on aviation, transportation, and roadway projectsReview and contribute to constructability assessments and coordination
âś… Qualifications6+ years of civil engineering experience in transportation, rail, or MTA projectsProficiency in Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoadsStrong understanding of roadway design and transportation systemsExperience with DOT and MTA project workflowsEIT certification preferredAdditional experience in land/site development, grading, drainage, and highway design
