We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing Design Management Services team in Virginia. This role works closely with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects to a variety of clients including municipalities, counties, commercial, and industrial entities.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects efficiently.Develop and prepare engineering and design documents using computer-assisted software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.Conduct on-site visits to ensure project specifications are met.Engage in stormwater management, drainage, and grading tasks.Ensure compliance with municipal, state, and land development engineering standards.
Essential SkillsProficiency in Civil 3D, Design, and Stormwater management.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.2-5 years of relevant experience in municipal, state, and land development engineering.Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification for the State of Virginia or ability to complete within 6 months.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Erosion & Sediment Control.Eagerness to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license when eligible.Flexibility, organization, dependability, and accountability.Ability to conduct on-site visits as needed.
Work Environment

The work schedule includes three days in the office and two days out of office, with flexibility required depending on workload. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
