We’re working with a top-tier consultancy who are growing their Cardiff team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundation in drainage and highways, with the ambition to grow in a highly supportive, design-led environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 
Designing levels, drainage, SuDS, highways, and external works for a wide range of building-led developmentsWorking on residential, commercial, regeneration, and public sector schemesProducing detailed designs and submission packages for S278, S38, S104, S185, SAB approvals, and moreCreating earthworks models, technical reports, condition surveys, and drainage strategiesCoordinating with architects, design teams, contractors, and approving authoritiesMentoring junior engineers and contributing to project reviews and deliveryTaking part in client meetings, site visits, and team collaboration sessions 

What We’re Looking For:           


 
Degree-qualified with consultancy experience in infrastructure or civil designComfortable working across drainage, highways, and 3D modellingProficient with AutoCAD and InfoDrainage – experience with Civil 3D a bonusConfident communicator with a collaborative mindset and attention to detailGood understanding of industry guidance and approvals (SAB, S278, S104 etc.)Someone who thrives in a design-led, multi-disciplinary environment
