Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer or graduate Civil Engineer EIT with 5-10 years of experience in land development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD Civil3D and will be responsible for designing preliminary and final design construction documents. This role involves working on various land development projects, primarily focusing on residential developments, including grading, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality work related to site stormwater management plans.
ResponsibilitiesDesign preliminary and final construction documents using AutoCAD Civil3D.Work on land development projects of different sizes, with a focus on residential developments.Conduct grading and drainage design projects.Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality work related to site stormwater management plans.Prepare reports, design drawings, write specifications, and develop contract documents.Collaborate with clients and visit job sites as necessary.Engage in project management from start to finish.Essential SkillsProficiency in civil design and engineering.Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.Knowledge in land surveying.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.5-10 years of experience in land surveying.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in grading and drainage, drafting, and site plan development.Ability to manage projects independently.Work Environment
The office is located in the Mendota Heights/Eagan area. This is a 100% in-office role, requiring presence Monday through Friday. Depending on project requirements, there may be fieldwork involved. The company offers a variety of projects and opportunities for project management in a smaller company setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
