You will be assigned many different types and sizes of projects that will provide opportunities to perform civil design/analysis, plan production, specification preparation, and much more. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Work with project team to develop construction drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates for a variety of private, municipal, and federal projects. + Generate design deliverables for site layout, storm water management, drainage, grading, water and sanitary sewer utilities, and erosion and sedimentation control. + Collaborate with senior staff in the execution of projects and the development of business opportunities + Function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to successfully achieve group goals + Perform calculations to analyze and design civil project components + Assist with research, data collection and information-gathering to support design decisions **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Proven ability to maintain relationships of trust and positivity with teammates and clients + Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite + Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills + Experience with site/civil project related permitting procedures and regulations + Proficiency in developing technical specifications and construction cost estimates **Education and Experience** + Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar accredited engineering degree + Minimum of five (4) years of engineering experience + Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or passed examination with license pending receipt within one (1) year of hire _This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice._ **About Stantec** Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
