Civil/Environmental Engineer responsible for design and construction support of water, wastewater, and related civil infrastructure projects.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
5+ years of relevant civil/environmental design experience
Experience performing engineering calculations and analyses for water and wastewater systems
Experience preparing technical reports, technical memoranda, and design documentation
Experience developing engineering plans and specifications for civil and process systems
Experience providing engineering support during project construction phases
Preferred Skills:
Experience with projects in the NYC Metro area
Experience with pumping systems and hydraulics for liquids, slurries, and viscous materials
Experience with open channel flow hydraulics
Experience with water and wastewater process design
Experience with piping system design including materials, layout, supports, anchorage, and expansion control
Experience with earthwork and roadway design
Experience with chemical storage and feed systems
Experience with residuals management systems
Experience with stormwater management and treatment solutions
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and execute work across multiple projects simultaneously to meet scope, schedule, and technical requirements
Perform engineering calculations and analyses and prepare clear, defensible technical memoranda
Develop engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and related design documentation for water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure
Provide engineering support services throughout project construction phases, including submittal review and field support
Contribute to the design of water and wastewater systems including pumping systems, pressure and gravity pipelines, and process units
Design piping systems including material selection, layout, supports, anchorage, and expansion control provisions
Support earthwork and roadway design associated with treatment facilities and related infrastructure
Develop designs for chemical storage and feed systems, residuals management systems, and stormwater management and treatment solutions
Pay: 40-50

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
