Job Title: Civil CAD TechnicianJob Description We are urgently seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team in the Greenway Ashburn, VA office. This role is pivotal in designing industrial, commercial, and residential subdivision layouts. The successful candidate will be utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D to execute site designs, working closely under the guidance of a Licensed Professional Engineer. Responsibilities + Design industrial, commercial, and residential subdivision layouts. + Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site design. + Assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in planning and designing hydraulic and stormwater collection systems. + Collaborate with the project team to ensure design accuracy and meet deadlines. Essential Skills + Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or related experience (0-1 years). + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Stormwater Management Design is a plus. + Experience in creating site plans is beneficial. + Experience with grading is advantageous. + Desire to work in a team environment.
