We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Citrix Engineer to support our regulated IT infrastructure environments. In this role, you will serve as the primary Citrix Administrator, ensuring dedication, reliability, and adherence to regulations for systems that host FDA-approved and validated software applications critical to our operations.

Your work will directly support scientific innovation and ensure that validated applications meet stringent regulatory and security requirements — ultimately helping Thermo Fisher deliver technology and solutions that advance human health.

Roles and Responsibilities

Administer, support, and maintain Citrix infrastructure (Citrix Cloud, Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, Workspace Environment Management, ADC/NetScaler)Perform installations, configurations, and validations of FDA-approved software within Citrix environments in accordance with regulatory and company compliance procedures.Collaborate with application owners and validation teams to ensure software deployments meet GxP requirements.Manage user access, profiles, and session policies while maintaining secure remote access and optimizing performance.Apply advanced knowledge of Windows desktops and software installation principlesMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches, upgrades, and security fixes to ensure high availability and compliance.Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, IQ/OQ/PQ validation documentation, and configuration records.Participate in audits, change control reviews, and IT validation activities.Coordinate and communicate effectively across multiple teams and regionsEnsure high attention to detail in all tasks and processesCollaborate with the business unit to achieve organizational goals

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldOverall 8+ years of IT experience, 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering Citrix environments (XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC).Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher (e.g., CCP-V, CCE-V) preferred.ITIL certification or FDA-regulated environment training a plus.Proven experience with FDA-regulated systems and validated software installation processes.Strong understanding of GxP and CSV (Computer System Validation) complianceExperience in working within a regulated or life sciences environment preferred (pharma, biotech, medical devices, etc.).FDA Audit Compliance and Documentation
