Citrix Admin L2
Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Citrix Level 2 Administrator with strong expertise in managing and supporting Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (VDI) and Citrix Servers. The role demands excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to maintaining high availability and performance in virtualized desktop environments. 
Working hours: 9 AM to 6 PM IST, 5 days from office, Location: ONLY HYDERABAD

Key Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and maintain Citrix infrastructure including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Studio, and Director.
Manage and support Citrix VDI environments across multiple sites ensuring optimal performance, stability, and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Citrix sessions, logon performance, profile management, and application delivery.
Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and health checks of Citrix servers and supporting components.
Collaborate with Windows, Network, and Storage teams to identify and resolve cross-platform issues.
Manage and optimize Citrix policies, profiles, and GPO configurations.
Work on escalations from L1 team and drive problem management and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Maintain accurate documentation, configuration details, and operational procedures.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience:
4–7 years of experience in Citrix administration and support (L2 level).
Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (7.x/1912/2203 LTSR), Citrix Director, and StoreFront.
Strong understanding of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Profile Management.
Solid experience with Citrix VDI troubleshooting, user session analysis, and performance monitoring.
Knowledge of Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM), App Layering, and Citrix Cloud (preferred).
Familiarity with hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix AHV) and PowerShell scripting for Citrix automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Certifications (Preferred):
Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V)
Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (added advantage)

Soft Skills:
Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability.
Effective in prioritizing tasks and managing incidents independently.
Collaborative team player with good communication and client-handling capabilities.
