Cisco Field Technician
Job Description An employer is looking to add 3 Cisco Field Technicians to their Oklahoma City location. These Technicians will be responsible for supporting a large-scale migration from Skype to Cisco across multiple healthcare sites in Oklahoma. This project involves replacing approximately 4,200 phones across 52 locations, including two major hospitals and numerous clinics. Day-to-day duties include traveling to assigned sites within a 30-minute radius, removing existing DVX phones, and installing Cisco phones by unboxing, connecting, and configuring devices, including entering required codes. The technician will perform basic test calls to ensure functionality, document installations, and escalate advanced troubleshooting issues to the network team. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records and communicating progress with project leads. Candidates should have at least one year of Cisco experience, be comfortable with field work and frequent travel, possess reliable transportation, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
