CIRC Manager
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES General functional and administrative management over team members Coordinate the work and tasking of team members to ensure appropriate levels of coverage that supports CIRCs follow-the-sun, 24/7 work schedule model Identify and address operational requirements specific to CIRC Develop, document, and formalize standardized global incident response processes, as well as determine key stakeholders and gather current best practices Manage the review of proposed/new alert detection logics as well as the fidelity of active alerts Manage incident-handling of critical severity cases. Coordinate conference calls and meetings relating to declared incidents Maintain situational awareness of incidents from other units/organizations that may require CIRC involvement. Support incident response requirements Provides leadership and guidance to the team in key operating areas through clearly defined and communicated team goals and expectations. Continuously monitor and review overall team performance; identifies and addresses opportunities for improvement; develop tactical plans to achieve team goals. Initiate actions to promote inspiration and positive morale. Regularly provide accurate, specific and timely performance feedback and evaluation. Effectively executes recognition of associates Implement initiatives and processes to improve all aspects of performance. Coach and develop associates to improve current performance and build bench strength for the future. Be responsible for recruitment, selection, and hiring of new team members Performs necessary disciplinary and personnel actions and maintains all required admin requirements Help produce metrics that support GSO's strategic direction Fosters a climate in which knowledge and expertise are shared openly, interaction is dynamic, innovation and process improvement is encouraged among team members. Maintain knowledge of current events and trends in relevant industry

Minimum bachelors degree in business/finance/accounting/information security/criminal justice/investigation or equivalent Minimum 5 years supervisory experience, managing teams and providing functional direction Minimum 7 years experience in financial fraud or efraud investigations, preferably in a large organization. Minimum 3 years handling critical incidents, preferably within the banking sector/financial services/payroll industry Professional knowledge or experience investigating digital fraud, cheque fraud, payroll fraud, credit card fraud, consumer lending, embezzlement, internal fraud, and/or other transactional business involving money movement Professional knowledge or experience investigating compromised credentials, account takeovers, social engineering, identity theft, business identity theft, Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills are a must, including root cause analysis Strong understanding of fraud risk management principles and practices for prevention, detection, response, remediation, and reporting of fraud Able to exercise judgment and influence on key technical decisions (i.e. standards, policies, processes, and technical solutions etc.) Must be familiar with general concepts of cyber security/information security. IT/cyber security experience in a large global organization is a plus Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL is a plus Ability to train and mentor emerging leaders Partners and works well across other areas of fraud management, cyber security, IT, and business operations Forms productive networks with internal and external business partners. Good teamwork, communication/information sharing, strong influencing skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required Sense of urgency required while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. The ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple requirements, and achieve desired results in a fast-paced environment.
