CIP ENGINEER H/F
•Engineering degree or equivalent•Minimum 3 years of working experience within a production environment•Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant using Lean Manufacturing  principles•Previous management experience is a plus•Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills•Ability to train and coach within the plant•Continuous improvement mindset•Ability to master change•Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans•Fluent English language knowledge written and spoken

The mission of the CIP Plant engineer is to contribute to plant performance and profitability driving continuous improvement initiatives and  cultivating a Lean Manufacturing / Excellence mindset.  

This position will report to Plant Manager as it plays a critical role in supporting our strategic growth goals through disciplined, systematic process improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

•Lead cross-functional improvement teams including members from Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance•Manage multiple concurrent improvement projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope•Act as a change agent  and provide Lean Manufacturing expertise at the plant level, collaborate with departments to create an impactful CIP deployment plan•Benchmark industry best practices internally (HFS) and in the aerospace/defense manufacturing and identify opportunities to adopt proven methodologies•Contribute to the lead-time reduction though the implementation of continuous flow, layout optimization, pull-system and speed up flows works.•Coach and mentor team members in applying improvement methodologies to daily work, developing their problem-solving capabilities and continuous improvement mindset•Contribute to DL, Scrap/MRB improvement initiatives, focusing on Hoshin, 7 wastes, cycle time improvement, bottleneck management, and more.•Lead the digital tools deployment, ensuring quality data capture and delivering training on tools like TOC, WTL…•Support the implementation of Lean tools for production reliability, change over Standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages , Line balancing, and overall DL efficiency•Lead Six Sigma projects using DMAIC methodology to solve complex quality, efficiency, and cost problems with measurable, sustainable results
