Kraft Heinz is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Continuous Improvement Intern to work on two exciting projects in our Cairo Factory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on process improvement initiatives, analyze data, and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and develop skills in continuous improvement, project management, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Study all activities done during startup, shutdown, and size changeover to establish required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reduce size changeover time.
Create timing chart for all the activities
Perform motion and time analysis of machine operators' activities during startup, shutdown, and size changeover in all lines.
Identify bottlenecks and optimize internal and external efforts to improve line Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Separate internal activities from external activities
Present project updates and results at the end of the project.
Review and update current work instructions on all lines in Cairo Factory to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify gaps in current work instructions and update them accordingly.
Validate the execution of updated work instructions on the ground.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Present project updates and results to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
A recent Engineering graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Process, Industrial, etc.)
Curiosity and interest in working with people
Passion to learn
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
