CI Buyer / Supply Management Specialist

Supply Management Specialist responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, and supporting cost, quality, and delivery objectives for power systems products.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of project management experience including planning, coordinating resources, and delivering results.

2+ years of experience in a Supply Management role.

Previous experience in product design, quality, cost management, or direct material supply management.

Demonstrated internal and/or supplier negotiation experience.

Experience working on global teams or with global products.

Experience with Order Fulfillment and Enterprise Product Delivery processes.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI).

Working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint file management.

Preferred Skills

Experience using structured supplier performance frameworks (e.g., Achieving Excellence or equivalent).

Experience driving cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.

Experience supporting engineering change processes related to direct materials.

Job Responsibilities

Implement and maintain supply strategies to support current production requirements for power systems products.

Lead and support negotiation of supply with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and continuity of supply objectives.

Organize and lead continuous improvement activities focused on supplier relationships, performance, and total cost.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and align on future architecture and module decisions.

Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of design changes and product improvements.

Utilize supply management tools and performance criteria to monitor and improve supplier performance.



Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
