The Children’s Programs Assistant Manager oversees the lesson operations for all Children’s Mountain Sports Programs. This role is responsible for assisting with hiring, training, developing, and supervising of program team members to ensure the most progressive and industry-standard teaching techniques and processes are achieved while delivering a high level of guest experience.
The Children’s Programs Assistant Manager works in collaboration with the Children’s Programs Manager, Adult Programs Manager, and Woodward Mountain Sports Director to assist in the development and implementation of the annual revenue center plan in conjunction with the company’s strategic plan. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Children’s Snowsports operation, which is open 7 days a week during peak seasons. The operation is responsible for providing lessons for ski and snowboard.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities:Manage team member schedules, timecards, and availability.
Confirm accuracy of instructors’ recorded hours and assist with weekly payroll and payroll corrections.
Coordinate and delegate daily cleaning schedules and organization of the locker room and Children’s Snowsports room with supervisors and instructors.
Evaluate, monitor, and improve lesson quality on hill.
Train front-line team members to deliver high-quality, friendly guest services.
Assist in communicating and coordinating the execution of company initiatives with direct reports and teams.
Assist with revenue growth and service improvements.
Understand and work within annual BRC Mountain Sports budgets.
Monitor and control operational expenses to align appropriately with any fluctuations in business levels.
Coordinate with other business units to ensure collective efforts toward company-wide initiatives.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:Proficient in MS Office & Office 365 programs.
Effective, friendly communication via email, phone, and in person.
Experience with industry-standard platforms such as RTP, Intouch, and Flaik preferred.
PSIA/AASI/USASA or similar experience/certification preferred.
