Education: High School or GED, required. NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required. Experience: 1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age, required. Licensure/Certification: NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required. ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required. Additional Skills (required): NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years. BSAC if working with school age children.
