**Job Description:** Performs a wide range of duties relating to the care of children 0 – 7 years of age, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that promotes each child’s individual development through daily care routines and age appropriate activities in cooperation with fellow team members and parents, as well as assisting Area Leaders in any appropriate way to carry on the program or when Area Leaders are absent, at all times promoting the goals and philosophy of the Child Care Center and Essentia Health. **Education Qualifications:** **Qualifications:** _Must fulfill one of the following-_ + **A.** Minnesota technical institute certificate as a child development assistant. Plus 520 hours experience as an aide or student intern. + **B.** Two years full time post-secondary education from a college or university.
