The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is responsible for the overall strategy, direction, and execution of the supply chain function. This role encompasses managing the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement and customer services to planning, Warehouses, and export logistics, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
• Contribute effectively to the group’s aim and strategic direction; develop and lead the execution of Supply Chain strategies at organization level.
• Develop and cascade Supply Chain policies and best practices, as well as overseeing andmanaging the Supply Chain functions across the organization, from procurement of material to the export global activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s strategic direction, sustainability initiatives and global expansion goals.
• Cascade major objectives, monitor performance across all supply chain functions, and report results to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
• Develop and ensure execution of the procurement strategy, focusing on securing sustainable and high-quality raw materials, other material, and packaging supplies.
• Build and maintain strong win-win relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency, while managing risk across multiple sourcing channels.
• Lead Customer Service function to ensure reliable and high-quality product delivery, proactively addressing customer needs and concerns to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
• Oversee and drive demand forecasting and production planning, to ensure sufficient product availability, minimize lead time, and balance inventory with demand fluctuations.
• Maintain direct interactions with key international customers, including traders, blenders, as well as B2B and B2C companies, ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Ensure that all supply chain processes adhere to food safety standards and regulatory requirements, with a focus on quality control, traceability, and compliance with national and international standards.
• Direct logistics operations to ensure cost-effective, timely and reliable deliveries, while complying with international regulations, and maintaining product quality across international markets.
• Strategically manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with product availability, especially given the product perishability and storage requirements.
• Direct and manage comprehensive insurance strategies, ensuring robust protection for company’s assets, premises, employee health and life coverage, business interruption commercial vehicles, liabilities, and secure shipment operations, while controlling costs.
• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
• Lead the selection and integration of AI solutions to optimize supply chain processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making across the unit.
• Drive sustainability practices across the supply chain, such as reducing waste, optimizing energy usage, and promoting eco-friendly sourcing and transportation options.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions, including supplier issues, raw material shortages, or logistical challenges, ensuring resilience and continuity.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Supply Chain team; promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Empower Supply Chain leaders, to contribute effectively to the organization’s strategic objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
• On-Time Delivery Rate (OTD): Assesses the percentage of customer orders delivered on or before the agreed-upon date.
• Supplier On-Time Delivery Rate: Measures the percentage of materials received from suppliers on schedule.
• Supply Chain Cost as a Percentage of Sales: including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution as a percentage of total sales.
• Inventory Turnover Ratio: Measures how quickly inventory is sold and replaced over a specific period.
• Forecast Accuracy: Assesses the accuracy of demand forecasting to reduce stockouts and minimize excess inventory, essential in managing seasonal and perishable products.
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
LANGUAGES: Proficient in English and Arabic.
EXPERIENCES: 20+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role. Experience within the agri-food industry and specifically in Fruit Concentrate, or IQF and Freeze Dry is a must. Proven experience in managing procurement, planning, and export logistics and international trade.

• Technology Integration and Digital Transformation: Proficiency in integrating advanced technologies like AI, ERP systems, IoT, and automation within the supply chain.
• Sustainability and Green Supply Chain Management: Ability to implement sustainable practices in the supply chain to minimize environmental impact.
• Global Trade and Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of international trade laws, tariffs, import/export regulations, and customs processes.
• Financial Acumen in Supply Chain: Strong understanding of the financial aspects of supply chain management, including cost analysis, budgeting, and ROI assessment.

ANNUAL GROSS SALARY: Very High Range, depending on the candidate profile and experience.
