For additional details about career areas and business divisions, visit wellsfargojobs.com The Specialty Underwriting & Originations team provides support across the credit card portfolio, including consumer, branded, co-branded, small business, and personal lending. The team is responsible for underwriting and loan origination servicing for both new and existing customers. Their function is central to supporting business objectives during ongoing organizational changes aimed at improving customer experience. The Chief of Staff (Sr Lead Business Execution Consultant) will have responsibilities that include overseeing operational projects and initiatives across all CMSPL products. This position involves ensuring effective execution of deliverables and providing strategic support for ad hoc business needs in a matrixed and fast-paced organizational environment. **In this role, you will:** + Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management + Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions + Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational + Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans + Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership + Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise + Identify and implement process improvements and streamline organizational procedures for improved efficiency and productivity + Provide recommendations to department leaders for improving organizational teamwork through consultation services + Plan, coordinate, and participate in the department’s governance meetings with staff (i.e., Town Halls), stakeholders (i.e., business, finance, technology, HR, compliance, risk, audit, regulators) and leadership team **Required Qualifications:** + 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Demonstrated experience as a chief of staff, business manager, or consultant with a strong focus on operations + Experience within credit card or banking industry highly desired, may consider other industries that are also highly regulated + Familiarity with Underwriting process, procedures and control management + Commitment to work with the utmost level of confidentiality and discretion + Organized and detail-oriented + Direct and clear communicator with strong executive level verbal and written communication skills + Understanding of business needs and organizational design knowledge to support strategies related to product capabilities and enhancements + Ability to make critical decisions independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment + Strong presence in communicating verbally and written to senior-executive level audiences, with ability to synthesize complex data and complex scenarios in simple form + Proficient with Power Point and Excel + Strong thought leader + Ability to drive deliverables in an Agile environment Candidate will be expected to work a hybrid schedule from one of the stated locations listed in the job posting.
