Chief of Staff – Global Enterprise Sales

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** + Partner with the CVP of GES to align on vision, strategy, and priorities, ensuring clear communication and execution across teams. + Lead cross-functional initiatives that support business growth, operational excellence, and development. + Manage business planning processes including budget, headcount, and resource allocation with a focus on compliance and governance. + Drive the rhythm of business by coordinating strategic planning, business reviews, and organizational alignment. + Collaborate with Finance and Human Resources to support budget planning, headcount strategy, and performance management. + Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, offering insights and recommendations to enhance team effectiveness. + Represent the CVP in meetings and communications, ensuring alignment and continuity of leadership goals. + Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous development through team health and engagement initiatives. + Support internal and external communications, including executive messaging, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. + Facilitate organizational design and change management efforts to support strategic priorities and long-term success. + Coordinate with business partners to ensure continuity of operations and alignment with corporate guidance. + Guide the development and execution of strategic plans, using data and insights to inform decisions and anticipate needs. + Collaborate with communications teams to articulate the team’s mission, priorities, and impact. + Partner with HR to support performance reviews, recognition programs, and employee development efforts. + Build and maintain relationships across the organization to drive alignment and shared success. + Embody our Culture  (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications ** + Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles + OR equivalent experience.  + 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, program management, and operational leadership within large, matrixed sales organizations. + 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales environments, with a focus on driving initiatives that improve sales effectiveness and business outcomes. + 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional collaboration and delivering results aligned with organizational goals. **Additional** **or Preferred Qualifications ** + Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles  + OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles  + OR equivalent experience.  Business Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
