Current programs include Specialized Supportive Housing Services, Youth and Family Services, Addiction Services, Community Living Supports, Behavioral Consultation, Foster Parent Training and Support, and Victim Services for women and children who have experienced violence.

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief of Corporate Services is responsible for working with the Senior Management Team to set the strategic direction and maintain responsibility for the leadership and management of all aspects of the financial, human resources, health and safety, information technology and administrative support functions across the organization.

This is a strategic executive role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Governance Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, advising the CEO and Board on corporate matters. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and public mandates. Lead change management initiatives and foster a values-driven, mission-focused culture. Participate in due diligence activities related to any potential business acquisition or divestiture, or new economic development partnership, including leading the integration activities with respect to finance. Financial Oversight Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-term financial planning. Ensure compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal financial regulations and standards. Manage procurement policies, asset management, insurance, and risk mitigation strategies. Human Resources Management Lead HR strategy including recruitment, labour relations, compensation, and organizational development. Ensure compliance with employment legislation (e.g., Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act, OHSA). Promote employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning. Information Technology & Systems Define and oversee the IT strategic roadmap, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.  Ensure continuous availability and performance of technology systems supporting operations and safety. Collaborate with departments to align IT investments with organizational priorities. Health & Safety Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs including training, reporting, and compliance. Serve as a liaison with health and safety committees and ensure emergency preparedness and pandemic planning. Foster a culture of safety across all organizational levels. Risk Management & Compliance Lead enterprise risk management and internal audit functions. Ensure compliance with privacy, access to information, and other relevant legislation. Monitor and evaluate organizational vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. Internal Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Oversee internal communications strategies to enhance transparency and staff engagement. Represent the organization in external partnerships and government relations. Respond to sensitive inquiries and maintain public trust. What the successful candidate will bring: Bachelor or Master Degree with Business / Commerce focus (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, HR, etc) 3+ years of Senior Level Leadership experience Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Strong financial planning and strategy skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Must be based in Kamloops, or commutable daily In return, you can expect: Base salary - $150,000 - $175,000.  Those with additional experience and salary expectations may also be considered.
