Responsibilities The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a senior member of the hospital leadership team, and actively participates in the oversight and establishment of best practices and standards for hospital clinical services. The CNO manages the nursing teams in order for us to provide the highest quality of care and service for the patients. The CNO coordinates nursing with other patient care and support functions to assure optimum delivery of health care. The CNO provides leadership and guidance in establishing standards for nursing and other clinical services under his/her jurisdiction.

Steer progressive clinical excellence through staff developmentShares responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment and retentionProvide nursing care to patients with acute medical conditionsActively assign nursing personnel, serve as a resource person and consultant. Implement company standards of care, policies, and proceduresEnsure all regulatory requirements are metCreate and implement schedule for safe staffing Work collaboratively with hospital leadership and other departments in order to achieve the best patient outcomes Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BSN requiredMSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a Masters program requiredCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse required3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required.3 or more yeas of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity requiredCertified BLS completed on date of hire requiredACLS required within 6 months of hire
Preferred Experience
Three of these years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing preferredCRRN required when eligible.Additional Data
