Navarro is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy, operations, and compliance. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving long-term financial health, ensuring adherence to government contracting requirements, and supporting Navarro’s growth strategy.
The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, audits, forecasting, budgeting, compliance, and system optimization with Deltek Costpoint. This individual must bring extensive experience in federal government contracting and be capable of partnering with senior executives, operations leaders, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for the financial operations of Navarro, including accounting, reporting, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial planning, risk management, and growth strategies. Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and GAAP standards, as well as all DOE, NASA, and DoD financial requirements. Lead company-wide budget development, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, indirect rate structures, and government-required reporting. Direct and optimize the use of Deltek Costpoint across accounting, reporting, and project management functions. Manage company readiness and responses for government audits (DCAA, DCMA, DOE OIG, etc.), including oversight of audit defense strategies. Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, internal controls, and risk management frameworks. Drive improvements in financial processes, automation, and reporting accuracy. Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering professional growth and succession planning. Partner with Contracts, HR, Operations, and Program Management to ensure financial accuracy across projects and business lines. Represent Navarro to banks, auditors, government agencies, subcontractors, and other external stakeholders. Support M&A evaluations, cost/pricing strategies, and strategic business development initiatives.
