The Chief Financial Officer directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the Medical Center Health System (MCHS). Oversees the treasury, accounting, budget, and audit activities of Medical Center Health System (MCHS). Oversees the financial/ accounting system controls and standards. Ensures timely financial and statistical reports for MCHS management and Ector County Hospital District (ECHD) Board use. Serves as the Investment Officer for the Ector County Hospital District.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field required. Master’s in Accounting, Finance or related business field degree preferred, CPA preferred.
B. Training and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years senior financial management experience required, 10 years of experience in a senior role preferred.
C. Job Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of hospital financial management, theory and practice. Thorough knowledge of health care organizations and its policies and procedures. Knowledgeable in principles of management and personnel administration.
