Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic, high-growth company. As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive team. This is a pivotal role for a strategic finance leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a strong foundation in public accounting, financial operations, M& A, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive team, helping to shape the long-term vision through data-driven insights and financial modeling.
+ Lead the finance function with a forward-looking approach—anticipating capital needs, identifying financial risks, and seizing growth opportunities before they surface.
+ Build and develop a finance team culture rooted in accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
+ Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for investors, board members, and non-financial stakeholders.
+ Oversee company forecasting and scenario planning, adapting strategy as markets, products, or acquisitions evolve.
+ Be the internal champion for financial transparency—implementing dashboards and tools to keep business leaders connected to real-time performance metrics.
+ Lead buy-side due diligence and post-close integration for acquisitions, ensuring financial and cultural alignment.
+ Drive financial systems transformation—identifying automation opportunities and streamlining processes without sacrificing rigor or control.
+ Act as the chief architect of scalable financial operations—designing workflows, policies, and compliance structures to support rapid growth.
+ Own the company’s relationship with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and key financial partners, ensuring alignment and readiness for future liquidity events or capital raises.
Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
+ BS/BA in accounting/economics/business
+ 10+ years of progressive growth in financial roles
+ Experience as a CFO, or Controller required.
+ Public Accounting experience is required
+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
+ Solutions-oriented with ability to bring and implement actionable, practical solutions.
+ Thought leader with ability to act independently in a dynamic, ambiguous, and rapid growth environment.
+ Well organized and strong attention to detail.
