Our Client is a multinational aftermarket automotive group with a solid long standing reputation in west of Romania. 

Scope of the role: The replacement of the current long standing CFO,with a hand over time possible till this year-end

The CFO will:

Oversees all financial aspects of the company's strategy and ensures financial information flows properly to the Managing Director and, when applicable, to external stakeholders (e.g., investors, financial institutions). Develops, implements, and maintains the financial-accounting policies of the company in accordance with local legislation and the Group rules. Ensures compliance, risk control, and financial planning to support the company’s long-term and short-term goals. Acts as the co-signatory on all financial transactions alongside the Executive Director, with legal accountability for financial compliance. Structure of the Department and reporting lines Reports to: Managing Director (solid line), dotted line to Vice President Finance  in WestEu.

Direct Reports: as usual, the CFO will lead the entire finance and Accounting team (chief accountant, controlling manager, tax manager, etc) 

Due to several entities in west Ro, CFO will have to travel often so he/she must be quite open with frequent comute. 

The few most important must haves of the best matching Candidate for this role are: At least 5 years in senior financial leadership roles Experience in a multinational environment with P&L responsibility Industrial sector exposure (production) – a very nice to have ACCA or EMBA or other executive business administration training – a strong advantage Strong leadership and team development skills Proven ability to manage compliance, budgeting, reporting, and strategic financial planning Excellent English and intercultural communication skills The company has a very cooperative approach and will highly appreciate a flexible, positive, friendly attitude, balanced and always open "to jump through hoops" when needed. The personality  fit will prevail against a top finance management expertise .
