We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the opening ofHyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 214 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

As the Chief Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading the pre-opening and operational readiness of Hyatt Place AlUla, ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable engineering operations from day one.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who leads with care, drives operational excellence, and develops high-performing engineering teams while ensuring full compliance and cost discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-opening engineering setup, testing, commissioning, and handoverEnsure compliance with local international codes and Hyatt standardsDrive preventive maintenance, energy conservation, and sustainability initiativesManage budgets, CAPEX, contractors, and engineering projectsLead green initiatives and energy savings projectsDevelop, coach, and inspire the engineering team
